| Abstract: | The use of marketing techniques by government agencies to provide more efficient and effective dissemination of their information is a fairly recent development. A recessive economy, and increased scrutiny of operations have become a powerful incentive to maximize revenues and minimize expenses wherever possible as long as the primary mission of public service is satisfactorily met. |
