| Abstract: | On the basis of a mineral-resource survey, the High Sierra Primitive Area, California was found to have an area of probable mineral-resource potential for tungsten. A small demonstrated tungsten resource is present on the Obelisk claims near the contact of limy metasedimentary rock and granitic rock in the northwest part of the area, and additional small deposits may be expected to occur to the south, in a similar geologic setting. |
