| Abstract: | The uncertain taxonomic status of five species of caddisflies previously recorded from Texas is resolved. Neotypes are designated for Cheumatopsyche comis Edwards and Arnold, Polyplectropus proditus (Edwards), and Protoptila arca Edwards and Arnold. Polyplectropus proditus and C. flinti Gordon are reduced to junior synonym status with P. santiago Ross and C. comis, respectively. |
