| Abstract: | The development of a shakemap-based earthquake response system within Caltrans is discussed. Caltrans is test deploying a simplified protocol for its direct use for post-earthquake prioritization of bridge inspection. The process involves employing a GIS spatial analysis to identify the bridges that were most strongly shaken. |
