| Abstract: | Analysis of flood volumes at selected streamflow-gaging stations in the upper Mississippi River basin indicates that numerous streams exceeded previous maximum 6-month volumes and 100-year recurrence intervals. Discharge hydrographs at selected stations along the main stem of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers are shown. A brief discussion also is given on the effect of flooding on four reservoirs in the study area. |
