Abstract
The principal objectives of the South Carolina Seismic Program are to: (1) provide essential high-quality raw seismic data for earthquakes in South Carolina; (2) compute accurate estimates of event and source parameters; (3) provide a catalog of events and source parameters that will be used in further evaluation of seismic hazard; and (4) respond with rapid estimates of event parameters if a large event occurs within South Carolina during the duration of the program.
