Abstract
Geological Survey maps (other than topographic maps) the publication of which was announced before February, 1974, are listed by the quadrangles (scale 1:250,000) into which Alaska has been divided for topographic mapping (p. 2). This index does not include maps that were placed in open files but not formally published, as such maps are listed in another report. References to maps of Alaska as a whole or of offshore areas that are not within quadrangle boundaries are listed under ALASKA - GENERAL, which appears before the alphabetically arranged quadrangle listings.
