| Abstract: | The study area occupies approximately 168 square miles of the Sacramento Valley, Calif. The area boundary is the Yuba River in the north, the Feather River in the west, the Bear River in the south, and the Sierra Nevada foothills in the east. Between December 1976 and March 1977, 640 wells were canvassed and 274 water levels were measured at Beale Air Force Base and vicinity. Thirty-six water levels measured in March and April 1976 also are included in this report. Descriptive data for water wells accompany the water-level table. Well locations are shown on maps.
