| Abstract: | This report consists of three maps that show approximate land-surface subsidence in the Houston-Galveston region, Texas, during the periods 1906-78, 1943-78, and 1973-78. The data, which are based on releveling by the National Geodetic Survey, show that subsidence has accelerated in the western part of Harris County. (USGS) |
