Abstract

A September 1986 potentiometric-surface map of the intermediate aquifer system in west-central Florida depicts water levels for the annual high water-level period. Hydrographs show seasonal and annual changes related to pumpage and recharge range from zero to 30 feet or more in some years. September 1986 water levels averaged about 10 feet higher than May 1986 levels. Between September 1985 and September 1986, the water-level rise averaged about 2 feet. (USGS)
