| Abstract: | Rainfall quantity data for 23 rainfall-gaging stations located in and near Lake County, Ill., are presented. The rainfall data were collected from December 1989 through September 1993 as part of an on-going rainfall-runoff investigation. Station descriptions identify the location of and equipment installed at each rainfall-gaging station. Total daily rainfall is tabulated for each rainfall-gaging station for each water year. Periods of missing record and snow-affected precipitation totals are identified. The data are presented graphically using annual hyetographs and mass plots. |
