Abstract
The author replies (see previous abstract) that the aim was to compare conglomerate facies from a range of depositional settings. The results do not depend on the San Diego and borderland strata necessarily being part of a single depositional system although he presents evidence here which strongly supports an integrated depositional system. - from Author
