Abstract

Earthshots introduces remote sensing by showing examples of how environmental changes look from space.

These images show the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolis in northeastern Texas. This city has grown significantly in recent decades, from 2,378,000 in 1970 to 6,700,991 by 2012.
