Abstract
The revised “Earthquake Report” questionnaire introduced here is designed to restrict the replies on the effects of earthquakes as closely as possible to a set of effects that can be evaluated by use of a computer program. Differences in intensity resulting from evaluation by different individuals using their own qualitative procedures can then be eliminated and static rules for evaluating the questionnaire for the assigning of intensity values can be established.
