Abstract

"The Sadlerochit River area" is the name that has been applied for purposes of convenience to that portion of the eastern part of the northern Alaska shown in Figure 1. The map covers an area of about 1400 square miles. The center of this map is a point approximately 55 miles southwest of Barter Island, 90 miles west of the International Boundary, and 180 miles east of Umiat.
